Old device for disposal

The German Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act transposes the European Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) directive to German law. The Act governs the disposal of waste electronics in an environmentally sustainable way. When supplying electric and electronic products to international markets, the local implementations of the directive apply.

Returning and disposing of waste electronics

The WEEE icon (crossed-out bin) says that end users must not dispose of electrical and electronic equipment together with household waste, but separately in an appropriate way. To do so, you may either resort to professional disposal service providers or return waste electronics to the manufacturing company.

Bucher Automation AG is registered with the Stiftung Elektro-Altgeräte Register (EAR) under the WEEE number DE 19888455 and takes back waste electric and electronic equipment our customers return to us. Prior to sending back any equipment, please contact us at return@bucherautomation.com and complete the Waste Electronics Return form.

Removing Batteries

Prior to disposing of waste electronics, remove any batteries where this is possible in a safe and non-destructive way. Dispose of batteries separately.
