The HMI LCD 110 has been designed for displaying simple operating and error messages. The 4 x 20 character display is for displaying extensive text messages. It features 32 user-programmable keys. 12 of them can be used for various display modes. This compact HMI is equipped with a numeric keypad for convenient data input.The 12 function keys are user-programmable and can be used for calling the menu and/or for triggering control functions. The keys can easily be labeled using replaceable marker strips.The LEDs integrated into the function keys can be programmed independent of the the function of the corresponding key.The numeric keypad allows direct input of values. 2 arrow keys are, for example, for moving axes in manual mode. Double assignment of keys and, in particular, of function keys is achieved by pressing the SHIFT key.Other function keys are for directly accessing registers and flags, as well as inputs and outputs in monitor mode which can be disabled. This way, the user is given the possibility to test the application without application program.
