Modern organic fertilization is subject to ever increasing tensions between politics, regulations and good professional practice. To help our customers further apply the valuable organic fertilizer to the right places in this difficult situation, Jetter has developed a completely new solution for manure spreaders. In addition to hardware, this solution also includes suitable software which was recreated according to the customers' needs.
Organic Fertilization by Manure Spreaders
The importance of the intelligent and well-dosed use of fertilizers is shown by the ongoing debates about the fertilizer directive. The right measure is the crucial point here. As much fertilizer as necessary, but not so much that the groundwater would be endangered. Intelligent, data-based technology is required for individual dosing of fertilizers. Jetter offers controllers and HMIs that make this easy to implement. Because intelligent agricultural technology is sometimes a challenge for manufacturers. Electronic components are increasing, new sensors need to be integrated. As a result, manufacturers have an increased variety of variants and functions in their vehicle product range - which in turn increases development time and costs.
For Now and the Future
We respond to these requirements with modular solutions and systems that can be easily scaled. For example, in the case of a manure spreader, one first considers its subfunctions. For these we have developed independent solutions.
Manure Spreader Solution in Practice

Now, each overall system for a particular manure spreader consists of a combination of subsystems. Vehicle manufacturers can thus select all hydraulic and electrical subfunctions themselves in a configuration file and thus put together an individual solution for their vehicle or implement. In addition to activating the functional options, the system parameters also include all changeable settings, such as the flow rates of the valves or specific weights of the media to be spread. The manufacturer can change the preset values on the PC or directly on the device. In this way, hydraulic systems, controllers and HMIs are very easily scalable in their range of functions: from basic to fully equipped configuration. This allows manufacturers to opt for visualization solutions, controllers, input and output modules, central electrics and plug-and-play cabling solutions. Jetter's modular system offers manufacturers the additional advantage of reducing the time from development to market launch of new devices.
The system solution covers all equipment variants and is therefore easy to configure - from simple to complex. The system is open to future modifications and customer-specific know-how.
