The JXM-IO-EX31 expansion module is the universal building block for remote I/Os on mobile machines and features a pioneering wiring scheme. Thanks to its fine-tuned I/O configuration, it can handle almost any remote task.

Communication with the JXM-IO-EX31 takes place via CANopen. This allows for integration into conventional CAN networks used in mobile machinery. Featuring a sturdy potted housing, the expansion module is designed to perform reliably even in the harshest operating environments.

The wiring scheme centers around a 4-pin DT connector and the use of standard cables to facilitate swift plug&play connectivity in the field.

Features

  • 15 inputs and 12 diagnostics-capable outputs - including powerful H-bridge high current paths and PWM with current control
  • Increased application flexibility thanks to a temperature sensor input for PT1000 sensors
  • CAN ID addressing via tristate inputs allows up to nine nodes in a network without software configuration, thus streamlining the common part strategy
  • High switching capacity due to parallel usability of H-brakes and high total continuous current for controlling DC motors
  • Convenient switching of the frequency inputs between NPN/PNP via software allows vehicle speed signals to be read in, for example
  • Three sensor supplies allow an extended connection of sensor networks
  • Sturdy potted housing with plug&play wiring scheme
